SEMINAR ANNOUNCEMENT

On October 17, 2006 at 14:30, P. K. Rath from University of Lucknow, India will give a seminar entitled:

“Deformation Effects, Uncertainty in NTMES and Neutrino Mass”

Abstract:

The deformation effect on nuclear transition matrix elements (NTMEs) of two neutrino as well as neutrinoless double beta decay will be discussed. The uncertainties in the calculation of NTMEs due to approximations in the nuclear many-body theory will be also presented. Finally, we extract effective neutrino mass as well as other gauge theoretical parameters.
